PRESIDENT Donald Trump declared himself immune from COVID-19 and insisted he was now ready to campaign again to defend his position in the White House.
The Republican candidate was given permission by his medical team to return to campaign last Saturday.
Trump criticized his opponent Joe Biden, assuming he ran an overly cautious campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, a survey found that Trump is now lagging behind his opponents.
With at least 23 days left until next November 3, Trump wants to immediately campaign to convince voters.
At the same time, social media platform Twitter put a warning label on Trump's remarks stating he was immune to COVID-19.
According to Twitter, the President's remarks violated the rules of social media platforms regarding inaccurate information related to the virus.
In the tweet, he claimed that he is now immune and will not get the virus.
The tweet, however, was marked by Twitter with denial for violating rules that prevented the dissemination of misleading and potentially dangerous information related to COVID-19.
Twitter also explained that, as it may have a public interest, the tweet is still accessible.
A spokesman for the social media company told Reuters the tweet made a "misleading health claim" about coronavirus.
Trump first announced he was infected with COVID-19 on October 2.
