JAKARTA: The story of the famous Indonesian host, Najwa Shihab who interviewed the 'empty seat' to replace Indonesian Health Minister Terawan Agus Putranto recently has not subsided recently, the latest reaction of an airline in the republic stole the attention of many.
Indonesian national airline Garuda Indonesia on Friday launched a complete aircraft 'wearing' face mask on its nozzle.
The Airbus A330-900 Neo aircraft comes with its own uniqueness when equipped with a sticker in the form of a blue face mask, mounted on the 'nose' part of the aircraft.
The strapless face mask was drawn up to the passenger side of the window depicting as if the rope was swinging in the wind.
At the bottom of the body of the aircraft is a message: "Let's wear a mask" (Let's wear a face mask).
Commenting on the special 'uniform' of the aircraft, Garuda Indonesia informed that the launch of the Airbus A330-900 Neo was part of the airline's support for the government's efforts to educate the public to wear face masks.
"This is in line with our commitment and determination to prioritize the safety and comfort of passengers," said PT Garuda Indonesia President Irfan Sabenutra as reported by the international news portal.

The plane is also scheduled to fly to Tokyo on Wednesday.
A recent Indonesian Statistics Survey revealed that 91.98 percent of Indonesians wear face masks; 75.38 percent of them wash their hands regularly; while another 73.54 per cent maintained physical imprisonment.
To date, more than 11,000 COVID-19-related deaths have been recorded in the country.
