HO CHI MINH: Vietnamese police raid a factory that recycles used condoms in South Ho Chi Minh City.
The raid was carried out after receiving information from locals.
Police found over 320,000 used condoms in which they were repackaged and sold in the market.
Following that, the police arrested a woman who is also the owner of the factory, 34 years old.
The woman claimed to have bought a used condom with respect to a man in the district.
The used condoms are then washed, molded and repackaged in plastic.
Local media also reported that the police were hunting for other individuals involved in the activity.
In the meantime, health officials informed, the use of used condoms can pose a health risk to consumers.
