PUBG banned in India, Akshay Kumar for cooperation in his own version

NEW DEHLI: A mobile game developer company in collaboration with famous Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, will launch Fearless and United: Guards (FAU: G) as an alternative to the country's banned online game Tencent PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile .
Reuters quoted nCore Games co-founder Vishal Gondal as saying that the online game is expected to enter the Indian market by the end of next month.
He said, in the early stages, the application of games that spread patriotism will be 'immortalized' based on the border area of India-China dispute in the Galwan Valley, Ladakh.
Last July, China withdrew its troops in the border area after clashes between two countries claimed the lives of at least 20 Indian soldiers.
As a result, India banned 118 Chinese applications including PUBG and other services offered by Chinese internet giant Tencent. following the tension at the boundary between the two superpowers.
FAU: G which means 'soldier', among others, is intended to inspire the patriotic spirit among the users of the game.
Gondal said 20 per cent of the proceeds from the sale of the game would be donated to military family members who died while serving.
"The appearance of Akshay Kumar who is also the son of a military officer is believed to add value in further increasing confidence as well as helping the basic concept of the online game.
"Actually, the name of the game was suggested by Akshay Kumar himself," he said, expecting more than 200 million users to use the game in a year.
