COVID-19 PANDEMICS clearly have a detrimental effect on the economy, so many have to re-plan their finances to reduce their monthly expenses.
However, not everyone is affected. In fact, a report from the Swiss-based UBS Bank found that the wealth of the world's richest people increased by 27.5 percent.
So it is not surprising if there are still luxury vehicle manufacturers able to record the best sales record despite the gloomy economic environment.
Italian luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini, for example, recorded the best sales last month with 738 units.
It is at once considered the best September for Lamborghini!
"These sales results reflect our hard work over the years, to remain in the desired position and to be a big brand in the automotive world," explained Lamborghini Automobile CEO Stefano Domenicali who is proud of that achievement.
"We are exploring a variety of new ways to connect with customers and fans, while striving to achieve new goals by looking ahead," explained Domenicali.
While most automotive companies had to limit production, Lamborghini did not use the pandemic as an excuse to give in, instead being optimistic about the production of three new models, namely the Huracan RWD Spyder, Sian Roadster and Essenza SCV12.
During this uncertain period, Lamborghini also managed to achieve a new record for the production of its SUV, namely the Manage model which sold 10,000 units and the same figure was also achieved for the Aventador ' supercar ' model .
This success proves that there are still certain sectors that show exceptional resilience even though the COVID-19 epidemic has already infected 36.3 million victims and caused the world economy to be projected to kiss at -4.9 percent.
